Questions and answers

What Calivo is and is not, where the data comes from, what the result means and what you can do with your data.

About Calivo

  • What is Calivo, and what is it not?

Calivo reads the official documents of public funding programmes (EU funds, national and regional schemes), turns their conditions into rules and tells you whether your company or activity meets them. It is an information tool: it does not prepare or submit applications, it is not a consultant and it does not guarantee any outcome.

  • Why don’t you submit applications?

Submitting an application means signing statements on your behalf and taking responsibility for them. We only do what can be checked and repeated: reading the rules and comparing them with your figures. The application itself stays with you or with a consultant you choose.

Data and sources

  • Where does the data come from, and how old is it?

Programme rules come from the documents published by the funding bodies; for each rule we keep the quoted passage and the page. Company data comes from public registries (for example the tax authority or the EU VAT register) or from figures you enter yourself. Every result shows the date of the data it used; you can refresh the figures at any time.

The verdict

  • What does “indicative pre-qualification” mean?

It means we checked the eliminatory conditions and estimated the score with the data available, but the final decision belongs to the funding body, which may ask for documents, apply interpretations or change the call. Treat the result as a well-founded starting point, not as a promise.

  • What do I do if the verdict seems wrong?

Open the verdict and look at each condition: next to it you will find the value we used and the quoted passage from the guide. If the figures are old, refresh them. If you still disagree, press “The verdict seems wrong to me”: your case goes to a person who reviews the rules, and if we made a mistake we correct it for everyone.

Your data

  • How do I delete my data?

From Settings → Privacy, the owner of the organisation can download a complete export and then anonymise the organisation: names, tax IDs, figures, verdicts and alert addresses are replaced irreversibly, and the sign-in account is deleted. Audit records are kept without any personal data, as the law requires.
